Market 28 commonly called mercado veintiocho. A good spot to check out souvenirs and handcrafts. Find the most ample variety of items you can imagine, beautiful pieces of art hand made by mexicans, silver jewelry, pottery. Just off Avenida Yaxchilan and Sunyaxchen one block away from the post office, This popular market is filled with shops selling many of the same souvenir items found in the Hotel Zone, but at half prices. It is like a huge flea market where you can deal the price with the vendors. After you visit this market don't forget to go to Plaza Bonita located just a few meters away the market.
There are also Gran Plaza and Paseo Cancun, two brand new shopping malls in Cancun.
